• Hook (I use 3.5mm)

• Stuffing

• Needle

• Stitch Marker

• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• R: Round

Arms (x2)

In white yarn:

R1: MC6 [6]

R2: 6INC [12]

R3: SC12 [12]

Color change to yarn color of choice for the body:

R4: SC12 [12]

R5: (SC4, DEC) x2 [10]

Start stuffing the arm

R6: (SC3, DEC) x2 [8]

R7: (SC2, DEC) x2 [6]

R8: Fold arm in half and SC3 through both sides

Fasten off and make two arms

Legs (x2)

In yarn color of choice:

In yarn color of choice:

R1: MC7 [7]

R2: 7INC [14]

R3-4: SC14 (2 ROWS)

After making the first leg, fasten off

After making the second leg, continue onto the body

Body

R5: Go into the first leg you made and SC14, then go back into the second leg and SC14 [28]

R6: SC28 [28]

R7: (SC6, DEC, SC6) x2 [26]

R8: (SC6, DEC, SC5) x2 [24]

R9: (SC5, DEC, SC5) x2 [22]

R10: (SC5, DEC, SC4) x2 [20]

R11: (SC4, DEC, SC4) x2 [18]

R13: (SC3, SC3 with arm) x2 [12]

Stuff the body, color change to white yarn, and continue onto the head

Head

In white yarn:

R14: FLO; 12INC [24]

R15: (SC5, INC) x4 [28]

R16-20: SC28 (5 ROWS)

R21: (SC5, DEC) x4 [24]

R22: (SC2, DEC) x6 [18]

Stuff head, color change to yarn color for the hat, and continue onto the hat

Hat

In yarn color of choice:

R23: BLO; (SC, DEC) x6 [12]

R24: SC12 [12]

Stuff the hat and continue as you go

R25: (SC4, DEC) x2 [10]

R26: (SC3, DEC) x2 [8]

R27: (SC2, DEC) x2 [6]

R28: (SC, DEC) x2 [4]

Fasten off and hide tail inside of the hat

Hat Ruffle

In yarn color of choice:

Insert your hook into the front loop from R23

Pull yarn color of choice through, slip stitch, and chain 1

Then do 4SC into each front loop from R23

On the last stitch, slip stitch, and hide tails inside of the head

Face

In yarn color of choice:

Embroider a plus shape onto the face for the eyes, with one stitch between them

The two vertical lines should be 5 stitches tall, and the horizontal lines should be 3 stitches long

Collar

In yarn color of choice:

Leave tail at beginning

R1: CH20+3

R2: Starting from the 3rd loop from hook; DC4 into EACH stitch

On the last stitch, chain 3 and slip stitch to fasten off

Wrap the collar around the neck and double knot with the tails from the start and end to secure

After double knotting, hide tails inside the body
